I haven't been able to update this blog in a long time. Things around here have been crazy. Tanner is enjoying 7th grade (the best that you can), and doing well. As for me I've gone back to school to be come a respiratory theraptist. So you can say it has been busy.

GO UTES!!! The Uof U beat Byu 48-24. TheU is 12-0 and heading to the BCS bowl. The Girls all got together for the game at Val's. Yes, Amy is wearing her blue, but we still love her. Amy was lucky even though her team didn't win she won $25.00.

We all went to see the BIG Pumpkin contest at the country store in West Bntl. This pumpkins were HUGE. (P.s the U of U won their game that day, undefeated so far. GO UTES!!)

We had a little drama at our house with Jaxson. I came home for lunch and as usual I gave Koda and Jaxson their raw hide sticks. I few minutes after I gave Jaxson his bone I heard him cough, I looked at him said you ok, and then realized that the bone was gone. Yep, you guessed it he swallowed it whole. Called the Vet, sure enough they wanted to see him. Took him in and they took an x-ray, found the bone lodged in his stomach, and the only option we had has surgery to remove the bone. The bone wouldn't be able to go through his system and he would get sick and could die. Well long story short as they were putting him out the meds made him sick and he threw up not only one bone but two, he had swallowed one a few days earlier. I'm so grateful that the doctor gave him the shot in his leg instead of the meds through an IV. Also grateful that I was home to see him do that. So since he was out they went a head and neutered him. No more rawhide sticks in our house. When we got him home he was running around like nothing happened. Jumping on and off the beds with no problems the next day. crazy dog!

Jaxson couldn't jump on the beds, so Tanner made a bed in the living so he could take care of him. What a good boy.

Trent finally got the Elk he has been waiting for, for years, It was a 6. pointer. This elk was huge. He will be mounting this one on the wall. Nice Job, baby Brother!

Uncle Trent took the boys Deer hunting and fishing. They camped in Flaming Gorge. Trent and Jacob both got deer. The boys had so much fun.

JUNIOR HIGH BOY

Tanner started junior high Aug 08 at Bountiful Jr high. This is the only picture he would let me take. Tanner has really enjoyed 7th grade so far, he is making lots of new friends. His favorite classes are Band, Shop and Gym. What not Math or English? Tanner is now 5'7 and still growing. Tanner is trying out for the Wrestling team this year.

BHS Class of 1988 20th Reunion

Bountiful High Class of 1988 20th reunion was held in Snowbird Aug 9,2008. My dear friend Tammy came with me,(You know I wasn't going to go by myself.) We had a great time.It was so nice to see that I'm not the only one who has aged gracefully. ha ha.

High School Sweethearts: Tim Lakman and Tiffany- (Jr and Senior year plus one year after) Tim was on the hockey team, they took state that year. We hadn't seen each other in 18 years, it was so great to get caught up.

OUR SAN DIEGO TRIP

SAN DIEGO HERE WE COME. Tanner and took a trip home for a week. We were so excited to see our friends and family. I stayed with our dear friends Mike and Katie, Tanner stayed at his Dad's. We decided to do the trip in 2 days, it was really nice for the both of us. Thanks for a great trip Tanner. I love you!!!
